These Terms govern your use of the Samexo platform ("the Service"), operated by Samexo (Pty) Ltd, a company duly registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) of the Republic of South Africa ("we", "us", "Samexo"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Samexo is an all-in-one productivity and personal organization platform. It provides informational, habit-building, journaling, planning, and organizational tools across modules including routines, finance goal-tracking, wellness logging, household, education, and an AI assistant.
Samexo is not a regulated service. The Service does not provide: (a) regulated financial advice, investment management, brokerage, or any service requiring a financial services provider licence under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 or any equivalent law; (b) medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, psychological therapy, or counselling; (c) legal, tax, or accounting advice. Finance and wellness features are purely informational and organizational. For regulated advice, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
You may use the Service only for lawful personal productivity, planning, education, journaling, wellness logging, household, and related life-management purposes. You must not use the Service to: (a) break the law or encourage illegal activity; (b) commit fraud, spam, phishing, impersonation, harassment, abuse, hate, exploitation, or threats of violence; (c) create or distribute malware, instructions for cyber abuse, weapons guidance, self-harm instructions, sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate content; (d) create deceptive deepfakes or misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created where that would mislead others; (e) infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; (f) scrape, probe, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or interfere with security; (g) resell, redistribute, or provide the Service to others without permission; or (h) jailbreak, evade, or circumvent safety systems and usage limits.
You are responsible for your prompts, uploaded content, decisions made from outputs, and confirming you have rights to anything you enter into the Service. AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be relied upon as professional advice without qualified human review.
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must have legal authority to enter these Terms and be at least 16 years old.
Samexo offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Samexo (Pty) Ltd is the seller for all orders. Payments are processed by Paystack on our behalf.
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your order date by contacting support. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
We retain ownership of the Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the Service.
We may monitor for abuse, remove or restrict content, refuse or filter AI outputs, limit features, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create safety, legal, payment, or platform risk. Repeat infringers will have access terminated. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us to request takedown.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination, your data may be exported for a reasonable window before deletion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties. Our aggregate liability is capped at fees you paid in the 6 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
